Privacy Policy

Effective July 20, 2025

This Chrome extension is designed to help you manage your tasks and tabs efficiently while collecting the least amount of personal data possible. We do not require you to log in or create an account. Any data collected is used solely to enhance your experience and is not sold or shared with third parties.

We value your privacy and believe in transparency. We ensure that you understand how your personal information is handled. This policy outlines how we handle any data that may be collected during your interaction with our website and applications.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide functionality:

  1. No Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
    • We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any account credentials.
    • We do not use Google login or OAuth in this extension.
    • We do not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily choose to provide it (via contact, in which your email may be collected).
  2. Local Data
    • A unique userId is generated and stored locally with storage.sync for the sole purpose of syncing your data with our remote database (Google Firestore).
    • You can also view your userId from within the extension. You can mention this userId if you choose to contact us regarding deletion of your data.
  3. Synced Data (Google Firestore)
    • User generated content constitues data that you input into the extension. This data is stored on our secure database using #2 to associate the data with your browser profile.
    • This may include:
      • Tab names and layout
      • To-do lists and their items
      • Completion status
      • Timestamps for last updates
The locally stored userId and your user content does not and will not be able to personally identify you. This remains separate from any personal information you may choose to provide.

How We Use Information

  • To persist your tasks, lists, and tab organization between sessions
  • To improve performance and experience across Chrome windows
  • To restore your data in case of browser restarts or updates
  • To show patch notes or version-specific updates when the extension is updated
If you contact us, we will use your information to respond to and resolve your queries and complaints. When doing so, we perform our contractual obligation towards you.

How We Share Information

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your information; however,
  • The only third party we use is Google Firestore to store and sync your data securely. Google Firestore acts as a backend storage provider and does not access or process your data beyond basic hosting.

How Long We Keep Your Information

In general, we keep information as long as you tell us to, and otherwise as long as we need it to provide our extension, or as required by law.

  • Local storage: Your data remains stored in Chrome’s storage.sync and localStorage until you uninstall the extension or manually clear the data.
  • If your storage.sync data (userId) is deleted, your Google Firestore data tied to the previous userId will be inactive. However, reopening the extension will generate another userId if none exists.

You can delete your data at any time by clearing your local storage or reaching out to us. Please mention your userId (displayed as ID at the top right of the extension) so we can better help you.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data.
